Workshops
Academy

Our Workshops include the production of poetry written by children for children through a set of poetry workshops that embody education and inspiration, with a focus on empowering young minds, practising self-belief, and positive thinking. These workshops encourage and develop reading and writing through creative expression. They:

  • Instil confidence through creativity.
  • Inspire other young writers in the process.
  • Are aimed at primary school children aged seven to eleven, key stages 1 and 2 in National Curriculum.

About us We will encourage young writers with inspirational direction. We will reach out to creative minds of all races, creeds, religions, and cultures, and help children to realise their full potential.

The workshops are available with concessions for those organisations that are not able to cover the costs within their budgets, and all the workshops for primary schools at UEL are also held for free. We are dedicated to inspiring children with education, and these poetry programs are set with this very goal. We have had positive responses from all these workshops and have found that the minds of children are beautiful and creative, and with attention, inspiration, and direction, young people are able to feel self empowered through the gift of their own imaginations.

The Young Gifted Writers Academy is a charity that is dedicated to inspiring young people through education.
